Located in the lobby area of the Verdanza Hotel, “Burger Bar” is the newest and hottest burger and comfort food destination in Isla Verde’s strip. After a long wait we finally have our Chef Elvin Rosado back in the game bringing us a completely new menu full of tasteful creations in a simple yet elegant setting just a walk away from the beach.

Burger Bar is probably one of the only, if not the only burger specialized restaurant with its own chef, the renowned Chef and Coach of the National Culinary Team of Puerto Rico, Elvin Rosado, making some of the most mouth-watering and delicious burger creations you’ll find. Some of these artful creations are the “Confit Chicken Burger” made with a tasty duck fat chicken confit, the “Roasted Apple Gorgonzola” which melts in your mouth like an apple pie, and the “Short Ribs Burger” which has bourbon marinated ribs and it is served with the classic and delicious Puerto Rican soft bread “pan sobao”… need I say more? Every dish in this menu is carefully planned ironically in the simplest yet most flavorsome way to make your gastronomic experience here a memorable one.

Being a burger “bar” this restaurant hosts, in addition to table sitting, a long bar stocked with any spirit you may enjoy, artesian beers (imported, local and micro brewed) and their very own cocktail menu which is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a true tropical drink made by professionals.

It is difficult to compare the normal day menu with what happens from 10am to 3pm every Sunday… its brunch time! And Burger Bar is on top of it with a menu that will rewrite everything you think a brunch menu is. Obviously it has the classics like for example the “Belgian Waffles” and the “Hot Cakes”, but these are complemented with prosciutto and different cheeses. The eggs and omelets are also what you would expect, an egg benedict or a steak & eggs, except they aren’t. Some dishes have things altered in them to make your foodie experience a completely different one and others are completely new creations like the “Mac & Cheese A Caballo” and the “Pulled Pork and Hash”, dishes which will broaden your appreciation of what a brunch is.
