The Second Annual Puerto Rico Restaurant Week™ to Take Place

Puerto Rico Restaurant Week is a two-week gastronomic dining event, showcasing Puerto Rico as a premier dining destination and highlighting the diversity of culinary experiences that the Island has to offer.
In May 2013, Puerto Rico will celebrate its second annual Restaurant Week, joining cities like New York, Amsterdam, Madrid and Singapore in this world-wide gastronomic celebration. For two weeks, mid to high-end restaurants will offer 3 course prix-fixe dinner menus for $26 or $36 (not including tax, gratuity or beverages). To promote sustainability, each menu will include at least one dish made with locally grown ingredients.
Last year, over 30 restaurants throughout the Metro area including San Juan, Santurce, Condado, Miramar, Isla Verde, Guaynabo and Hato Rey participated in the event. This year, the event will include over 40 restaurants all across Puerto Rico. Unlike traditional culinary events, Puerto Rico Restaurant Week happens simultaneously at each participating restaurant. It is the perfect opportunity to visit a new locale or dine at a favorite spot and enjoy a creative menu crafted especially for PRRW.
