Casa Lola user review

It was my son’s birthday celebration and we wanted to go all out, nice
ambience, great food, no rush.
We certainly made the best decision by going to Casa Lola. We had the Arepa
Trío for a start. These are three

pretty hefty filled arepas, one with shrimp, one with tasajo, and the other
with crabmeat. Savory and great for two people.
Then we both ordered the Filet Mignon & Lobster with mofongo a la Lola. The
Filet was beyond delicious, my son said it was the best piece of red meat
he had ever had! For desert we had a red velvet cake named “Pink Lady” and
a Lemon Tart, both exquisite. To top it all our waitress, Brenda, was
courteous and had a very relaxed attitude that made us feel right at home.
The ambience is artistic, with very high ceilings and purple and gold hues.
Perfectly located, I had a view of the sea and my son, sitting across from
me had a view of the Lagoon. The music was a mix of caribbean music which,
though always lively, was the perfect background for conversation, never
loud. The wine selection was very good and we found a great paring for our
fare with Brenda’s help. I recommend this place without a doubt.
